Coconut aminos are a soy sauce substitute. Not only do they taste even more delicious than traditional soy sauce, they are also 100% raw, made from coconut and sea salt. Like all fermented raw products they contain enzymes, co-factors and healthy pro and prebiotics.
Because coconut aminos are made with natural sea salt, it contains essential trace minerals necessary to our body.
So avoid the mostly genetically modified, and inadequately cultured world of soy sauce in favor of this delicious and natural treat.
I personally use this on my homemade sushi and sashimi, and I also make honey sesame stir-fry chicken with it.
This sauce is easy to make:
- 2 tablespoons of coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey
- 4 cloves of crushed or blended garlic
- 2 ground chilis
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Put all of the ingredients in blender and blend.
Add to stir-fry chicken and vegetables in Wok.
Not only will you avoid the soy sauce, but also the corn syrup that is found in most stir-fry sauces.
